It’s incredible what Apple is pulling off, yet again I would continue to ease out of long positions at these heights. No instrument goes up forever and each will be corrected. It is a good policy to be partially unloading as things get to extremes. Gold is a good recent example. Gold bugs thought it will go to 4,000. Putting sell stop orders below most recent highest-lows, most current support is a good way of doing it. People always want to be able to pick exact tops or bottoms. There is no such a thing as being able to pick exact tops or bottoms. But often greed or sloppy trade management rips us of profits we had at hand. Then we go in our minds through the familiar shoulda-woulda-coulda routine.

Fed announced no QE3 which sent markets lower. Both euro and gold tanked after the announcement as no easing means stronger dollar. I got hit in my long EUR/USD and USD/JPY short. I think this is going to be temporary because Draghi will have to respond to this. But for now it’s what it is. I re-entered euro long again.

The crazy thing is that there is still so much room for growth… I don’t think I’m ready to get off the train just yet.

I am not the trader in this gang and not long term some where in the middle. As for Apple as long as they make cool NEW stuff in the pipeline the stock will continue to do what it does. two examples
The new iTV coming out will be absolutely be the Bomb. Not because of us adults, but your children. Think gaming! And think that super clear display that Apple has. I can here it already…. “Daddy??? can we get an iTV for Christmas?! They won’t to make enough and with Tim Cooks genius for supply management the sky is the limit.
Two. Apple is the first co. to make the computer your toaster. When you bought your ipad how many of you even needed instructions to operate it. I sure as hell didn’t. Remember when you had buy windows for dummies to operate you PC. Those days are dead and gone.
Thank you Steve,
