I guess technology transfer is so fast paced that what is new today will be obsolete tomorrow. Now its the iPhone but tomorrow it will be something else.

That certainly is true but in this case and many others it’s not nearly that simple. This was caused by Apple’s ability to disrupt or at the risk of causing controversy shifting the paradigm. You would be hard pressed to find a handful of company’s in the last century that had that ability.

There seem to be more than a handful, but I suppose that varies based on one’s perspective. Forbes and CBS both rank Apple as #1 most disruptive; I can’t tell whether Baseline’s ordering doesn’t seem to be reflective of anything.

Unless you look at charts, do not try to find reason in the short term moves. And even then, you only get a “probable” prediction / explanation.
Maybe somebody was simply afraid that the good news would push it up so they pounded the brakes a bit too hard ?

Excellent article @nicu. After reading yours and the related links and comments I have found my favorite post.

Remote control(s) piss me off. After being forced by Comcast to install a ‘box’ on every TV with an associated ‘universal’ remote control I find it necessary to use at least two complex remote controls to access even the simplist of functions like volume. Even then things don’t work. In one case even upping the volume to 100 is not enough and it must reek havoc with the set. No doubt Apple will be fixing this.

I find two things that are fantastic and slightly unexpected:
- for the large battery pack, the warranty does not have a limit on miles (8 years warranty for all packs)
- they have very reasonable prices for options, not trying to nickel and dime customers; for example, they charge $10k more for the performance version but they include about $5k of options in thatOf course the fact that there are no price hikes nor delays is also absolutely great, but expected for those familiar with the values of this company.

Small disappointment (myself and others on Tesla forums) that tech pack (navigation system, keyless access, rear camera, xeon headlights etc.) is not included and priced at $3.5k.
Nice surprise that the panoramic roof blocks 93% of visible light in addition to 79% heat. I was afraid of the sunlight glaring on my shiny controls / screen … well, it will become mine after the short squeeze or in 1.5 years of nice growth in TSLA.

Shorts (or at least bears, I cannot find shares to short – must be the big sharks) have some fun with TSLA now. It’s quite funny, innocent investors on Tesla’s forum thought that this announcement should boost the shares. I could not post there anymore to warn them, probably because I made fun of the most childish of them and someone hit the “flag as inappropriate” in panic mode.
